Open Arms provides a safe and secure home with a caring staff to assist our seniors with specialized support for those with Alzheimer's disease and dementia in our Memory Care Special Cares Unit.

The Special Cares Unit is located within the confines of our facility. This unit was specifically developed for Alzheimers residents. This unit offers a safe and secure environment. Along with the basic care of the daily tasks of living, we promote the resident's independence and dignity throughout their stay at the Special Cares Unit.

In 2015, Open Arms added the Music & Memory concept to the activities available in our Special Cares Unit.
​
Music & Memory is a personalized music program that transforms elder care residents struggling with cognitive and physical difficulties. Through this program, Open Arms has been able to help those who suffer from these challenges to find renewed meaning and connection in their lives through the gift of personalized music.
